History
► Intention:The Private school of dance was founded in November 1997 in Košice by Mgr. Art. Katarína Solárova- Sninská. At the time of its establishment only the amateurish bodies and conservatory were active. The main idea and aim of this school was to create a place for children with natural movable skills as well as for children who love dancing , but are not good enough to pass entrance exams.The school was attended by approximately 1500 pupils.

The Private school of dance accepts children from 5 to 14 years without entrance exam, only by the form of notation. Children are divided into 5 age groups. Nowadays there are 5 dancing groups. Schooling is oriented on eclectic education of different types of dance:
- classic
- modern
- Spanish
- hip-hop
- dance gymnastic
2. Pedagogical experts:
People with a minimum of 10 years of dance experience.
Štefánia Hrabánková, Denisa Feketeová, Zuzana Pavlišáková, Martin Jelínek.
K.Solárová-Sninská was a student of well known teachers and choreographers at the VŠMU as for example Jozef Sabovčík (SVK), Pavel Šmok (CZE), Libor Vaculík (SVK), Boris Slovák (SVK).
3. Repertoire:
Is made up of small commercial choreographies and kids dancing fairy tales:
1. NEBOJSA .... based on Slovak fairy tales
2. STATOČNÉ SRDCE .... based on of Greek fables
3. POMÁDA .... a childy musical play
4. MRÁZIK .... a childy dancing fairy tale
5. ANJEL DOMINIK A ČERTI .... a childy dancing fairy tale
► 2005 – Birth of the Private elementary school of Art(SZUŠ)
After 8 years of active working with children Katarína Solárova – Sninská together with her husband Juraj Sninsky decided to found a Private elementary school of Art.So….the Private elementary school of Art, Popradska str. 86 in Košice was founded.
► School establishment:
Private elementary school of Art was founded by the agreement act as of November 12th 2005 based on the resolution of the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic enlisting the Private elementary school of art into the school network and school organizations in the Slovak Republic.
